A Freight forwarding company in Durban is looking for an Estimator to join their team.
Requirements:
- Intercoms Qualification required
- 3 Years’ experience
- Must have experience in clearing and forwarding
- Knowledge of shipping lines and airlines
- Must have good Communication and Negotiation skills
- A broad Knowledge on Air and Sea freight handling of project cargo, Road freight, cross border / cross trades, imports and exports will be beneficial
- Knowledge of Incoterms is Essential
Duties:
- Receive local and international enquiries by email
- Identify All requirements and thereafter request rates ( or work with rates on hand)
- Prepare quotes
- Preparation of quotes on Cargowise – (experience on Cargowise will be beneficial )
- Follow up with customers on quotes sent
- Must be able to communicate well with customers.
Salary: R9500 CTC
