DevOps Support Technician
Our client in the Upper Highway area is looking for a tenacious and enthusiastic IT professional to join their team.
The post will encompass statistical analysis as well as growth in IT support and development.
The position is focused on providing technical support, collecting and communicating statistical information, software testing, and assisting with software deployments.
The position requires occasional travel (local and overseas) and interfacing with development and operational teams.
Requirements:
- Matric Certificate + Diploma / Degree in IT / Comp.Science
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to communicate professionally and concisely
- Familiarity with Linux (Debian, Ubuntu)
- Experience with Statistical Analysis with Excel
- Bash, SSH
- Troubleshooting desktop user issues
- Creating and using software test cases
- TeamViewer
- Familiarity with Jira and the Atlassian suite of products
