Quality Controller (Logistics)

We are looking for a Logistics Quality Controller to be based in Pinetown.

 

Essential Requirements:

– Matric with HG Maths

– Shipshape or similar knowledge

– Minimum 3 years’ experience in industry and similar role

– Customs knowledge

– Tarrifing knowledge

 

Duties (Not limited to):

– Ensure that RCG submissions to Customs are meticulously prepared

– Thoroughly review incoming shipping documents

– Scrutinize details such as weights, number of pieces, sales terms, and ensure accurate values and invoice numbers.

– Verify that the packing list, invoice and bill of lading correspond correctly

– Examine forwarding files and registration files for accuracy

– Prior to sending documents to the Customs entry department, ensure that all documents are in perfect order, requiring no further corrections

– Be prepared to assist with entry submissions and file registrations when necessary

Salary: R24K – R28K
