Position Overview:
The Sales Administrator supports the sales team by managing administrative tasks, coordinating sales-related activities, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. This role involves handling customer inquiries, processing quotes, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in the preparation of sales presentations and reports. The Sales Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and success of the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
- Assist the sales team with daily administrative tasks, including preparing proposals, quotes, and client applications.
- Process and track quotes, applications, and new policy documents.
- Ensure all sales documentation is accurate and complete.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
- Maintain customer records and update the CRM system.
- Resolve customer complaints or direct them to the appropriate team member.
Data Management:
- Maintain and update sales databases with accurate information.
- Generate and analyze sales reports to track performance and trends.
- Coordination and Communication:
Sales Analysis and Reporting:
Compile sales data and prepare performance summaries for management.
- Track sales targets and provide updates to the team and management.
- Assist in forecasting sales and managing targets.
Process Improvement:
- Identify inefficiencies in the sales process and suggest improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); certification in business administration.
Experience:
- Proven experience in a sales administration, customer service, or similar role.
- Familiarity with sales processes and CRM systems.
Skills:
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling data.
