Our client within FMCG Retail sector is looking for a dynamic, astute Data Analyst to join the team.
This position will be based at the Head Office in Cornubia. While this is an office-based role, there will be ad hoc travelling to the stores.
The ideal candidate must have Advanced Excel skills, as well as experience working with ARCH software system and basic IT experience in retail environment (not negotiable).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Importing, cleaning, transforming, validating and modelling data with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions from the data for decision making purposes.
- To provide assistance and technical support to all departments, stores and employees in all matters related to ARCH software support
- Implementation of new systems and integration with current system in place
- Assisting with all inventory related reporting and stock take reporting on ARCH.
Desired Experience and Qualifications
- Matric + Tertiary qualification in Information Technology (IT)
- At least 3 years experience working with ARCH in the retail operating sector (non-negotiable)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Database Administration
- Application Support
