  • Actively approach targeted business and local government clients  
  • Search for new client leads.  
  • Manage relationships with existing customers.  
  • Conduct market research (analyse competitors, efficiency of sales strategies, etc.)  
  • Manage sales team and develop their competencies in line with best practice
  • Building and meeting the B2B budget  
  • Co-responsible for the brand image & positioning of the business  
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Lead nationwide B2B sales team members to achieve sales targets
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
  • Negotiate and close agreements with large customers
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the B2B sales and support departments
  • Monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
  • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
 
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification in Business Management / Sales qualification
  • Experience in dealing with Local government, corporate and SMME markets
  • Experience in and exposure to SETAs- advantageous  
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high level of enthusiasm and motivation.  
  • Good corporate network
  • Previous working experience as a B2B National Sales
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Customer oriented with strong negotiation skills 
  • Analytical and data driven problem solver
