RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement, review, ensure compliance to and maintenance of all FSSC systems and procedures
- Identify and evaluate Quality and Food Safety risks and trends
- Develop and execute a Food Safety and Quality audit program
- Actively implement continuous improvement projects
- Manage Quality Control with regards to raw materials and final products
- Reduce customer complaints
- Partner with Sales Managers to provide Customers with outstanding service
- Assemble, analyse and report Quality and Food Safety statistics and trends and make recommendations
- Manage the MRM, DRM process
- Develop and carry out Food Safety and Quality training and education programs
- Establish and manage Quality budget
Requirements:
- A minimum of five years Food Safety and Quality Management experience
- ISO 22000 and/or FSSC experience (implementation and management) essential
- Previous FMCG manufacturing or packaging experience is essential
- Minimum of a Degree or National Diploma (Quality, Food Safety or a related qualification)
- Strong excel and computer literacy skills essential
