Quality and Food Safety Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement, review, ensure compliance to and maintenance of all FSSC systems and procedures
  • Identify and evaluate Quality and Food Safety risks and trends
  • Develop and execute a Food Safety and Quality audit program
  • Actively implement continuous improvement projects
  • Manage Quality Control with regards to raw materials and final products
  • Reduce customer complaints
  • Partner with Sales Managers to provide Customers with outstanding service
  • Assemble, analyse and report Quality and Food Safety statistics and trends and make recommendations
  • Manage the MRM, DRM process
  • Develop and carry out Food Safety and Quality training and education programs
  • Establish and manage Quality budget

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years Food Safety and Quality Management experience
  • ISO 22000 and/or FSSC experience (implementation and management) essential
  • Previous FMCG manufacturing or packaging experience is essential
  • Minimum of a Degree or National Diploma (Quality, Food Safety or a related qualification)
  • Strong excel and computer literacy skills essential
